QDA Tools Website Launched
As part of our effort to develop qualitative data analysis software training resources for the School of Education, MERIT has launched a QDA Tools web site. The site contains information about upcoming workshops, links to other QDA software ressources, and will contain several guides for researchers interested in using and choosing a qualitative data analysis software package. New guides include using PDFs in QDA software and creating consistent line/paragraph numbers in NVIVO.
Invite to join new qualitative data analysis software listserv
To create ties between software users from across the SoE and UW Madison, we have started a new Wisclist listserv. List members are encouraged to share questions about QDA software titles, and about choosing QDA software. This is also a great place build community resources, share experiences and news about using software in qualitative research, and to find other users of the software you are using. To subscribe, send a blank email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Upcoming workshops are posted at SSCC, MERIT news, and the QDA Tools web site. In addition to the past workshops on Dedoose, and the upcoming workshop series on NVIVO, our Qualitative Research Data Consultant will offer a workshop series on MAXQDA. Details about the workshop are posted at the SSCC web site. Please register via the SSCC.
